Then a nice win against Felician, behind a great outing by stud RHP Ed Baram going 6 IP, 0 ER, 10 K, 0 BB. The 3rd game was a disaster against Molloy, Steele got rocked early and the Panthers couldn't recover. After a great sweep of STAC, this 3 game stretch was a let down.

7Le Moyne5 - 7--1 - 3
The Dolphins were down in Virginia taking on Shippensburg University. They are always a tough team and Le Moyne found that out as they lost 3 of 4 this weekend convincingly. Their only win came in game 2 as RHP Sam Bryns came out of the pen to throw 2.2 IP of shutout ball to go along with 5 SO! On the offensive side, they just had a tough time advancing runners and left a lot of the bases. 8Dominican4 - 4--2 - 2

The Chargers ended the weekend on a good note, winning their last 2. Bats came alive in the 15-8 win over St. Rose and Dominican defeated East Stroudsburg 7-5 in the finale. Solid weekend from their rotation, and bats were strong after New Haven which is always a tough matchup. This team is on the rise. They look to continue their win streak as they take on Fairmont St (Tue & Wed), Slipper Rock (Wed), and California of Penn. (Thu).
9Concordia4 - 8--4 - 2
Great week for Concordia down in Florida. Sweep of Queens, win against Bloomfield, split against Southern Conn. State. The Clippers also lost 6-2 against a tough Lynn team. 10Queens4 - 6 - 1--2 - 6
The Knights had a long week down in Florida. They lost 6 of 8 on their trip. Queens has a lot of work to do on the mound as they saw their opponents score 84 runs during the road trip. Their 2 wins came against Stonehill. The only bright spot is that this team can HIT. They are going to need to clean up the defense as they made 20 errors in Florida. The Knights will have a long week of practice to get back on track but this won't be a quick fix. They host Bloomfield this week for 4 games in Queens' home opener.
11St. Rose4 - 7--3 - 4
St. Rose went down south for the week with games in GA, SC, and NC. Their first matchup was against Augusta where they saw a 5 run 6th go to waste as Augusta scored 7 unanswered runs to win 9-8 in 10 innings on a walk off wild pitch. In game 2 against Claflin, the Golden Knights again saw their opponent score often and late as they dropped game 2, 21-9. In game 3 against Benedict, it was all offense as the team collected 11 hits and scored 16 runs, as St. Rose held on for the W. Pitching staff did the job, but it wasn't pretty. Benedict made 7 errors in the game. Up next was a double header against Mansfield, where the Golden Knights split the series with a 14-7 in game 1 and a 6-3 loss in game 2. Big game 1 from #1 -#4 in the order as they accounted for 9 hits. For the final game of the series of Dominican College, the saw the game get out of hand early with a Charger 7 run 1st and they never could get back in the game as the Dominican got the 15-8 W. 1B Nicolas Teitter and SS Andrew Pedone both had great weeks and are players to watch the rest of the way. Pitching needs to get in order this week as they have a full week of practice but no games. They start NE-10 games next week.
12Mercy4 - 9--2 - 1
Mercy took on Virginia State this past weekend down at their place for a 3 game series. After an opening 4-1 loss, the bats got hot and took the next two games by a combined score of 18-12. Assumption had 2 big innings where they distanced themselves and went on to win 15-6. In their 3rd game of the trip, the Warriors faces a strong Rollins group where the game quickly got out of hand with Rollins scoring 5 in the 2nd and added 7 runs later in the game.
